Brother is an excellent story about Big Mac’s commitment to family. It has strong prose that tilts a little toward grandiose from time to time, but is overall well done.
Another test, it seems. Looks like I’m going to be getting a lot of those if I’m going to continue this review thing. Today the hurdle to clear is bias. You see, Skywriter is one of my favorite pony writers, so I’m inclined to see things he’s written favorable. Add to this that he’s just an all-around pretty great guy, and it’s hard not to be in his corner.
So I spoke earlier about maybe getting into reviews, so I thought I'd throw something together and see how it sits with people. I've been tossing around just what to review for a week or two, and I think I finally decided to tackle the Top Stories of All Time list. Plenty of people cover (or used to cover) the feature box. Lots of people cover new stories or popular stories, but I thought that there might be some interest in covering what we've determined to be the "best" stories.

The Archer and the Smith is an excellent story overall, but has a few technical hiccups.
Just posted this up only to have Fimfiction.net freeze on me. Good times as I do it all again...
I read this story last night, and by this morning, it had already dropped from the number one position. Things move quickly at the top. Good thing I finished it up when I did, since all the images that make up the story are blocked at my job. You can read the text transcript, but it’s not the same.
My head hurts. Let’s just get through this.
